+ Can I choose which players are in my ensemble?
We love providing as much choice as we can to clients, but since we often have multiple performances on the same day, we aren't able to guarantee that a specific player or group of players will be there. You can read more information about each of our players here
+ Why do you charge so much?
What is the value of peace of mind? Our rates reflect the high quality of our players, who each undergo stringent screening and audition processes. All of our musicians have at least a bachelor's degree in performance, and many years of experience playing at events.
+ Where do you work mainly?
We primarily serve the Charlottesville, Richmond, and DC areas, but can travel anywhere, including to other countries!
+ Do you charge for travel?
We charge by the mile for any events more than 20 miles outside of Charlottesville. Contact us for more information about states outside of Virginia.
+ What instruments are in each different ensemble?
String duets usually consist of a cello and violin. String trios add another violin for a three-part harmony, and string quartets add a viola for a rich, full sound.
+Do you play at LGBTQ+ or interracial weddings?
Absolutely. Regardless of who are or you love, we are privileged to play at your wedding.
+Can you provide amplification?
We are able to provide amplification, although string instruments project well and it is often not needed for small to medium-sized audiences.
